Biography

Niloufar Ahmadypour received dual B.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Pure Mathematics and an M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering all from Isfahan University of Technology, Isfahan, Iran, in 2013, 2014, and 2015 respectively. She also received a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering (Information Theory) from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2021. From October 2021 to October 2022, She was a postdoctoral researcher at Tehran Institute for Advanced Studies (TeIAS). She also won the Third Prize and the Second Prize in the 20th and 21st International Mathematical Competition for University Students (IMC 2013 and IMC 2014). In September 2023, she joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Isfahan University of Technology, where she is currently an Assistant Professor.

Her research interests lie broadly in Information Theory, Combinatorial Optimization, Distributed Systems, and High Dimensional Statistics. In her future research, She intends to address mathematical challenges related to high-dimensional data in Machine Learning and Information Theory. You can find her CV here.
